its a 2006 holden ( GM oz branding) rodeo, commonly refered to as the clown car ( rodeo clown....) which is a 4 door pickup ( ute in australia) with a V6 3.5 petrol motor
its done about 140K now which isn't too much by local standards
its got a dent or scratch on every panel and is perennially filthy from living in the hills and using dirt roads all the time, but thats okay cos it stops people parking too close to me
i'd have used a pic that actually shows the car better but this one has my two dogs in so thats much better
leilani is the black great dane and finn is the grey wolfhound cross ( he's actually nearly as tall as leilani , he just chose to be a lazy bastard in this photo )
we originally got the car when we had 3 great danes and the 4 door sedan just didn't cut it any more
dream car ? beach buggy probably, maybe one of the new breed with a subaru motor out the back instead of a crappy old VW aircooled hand grenade
As I am sure you are aware, conditions for animals are not all they should be in the Philippines. We got a black lab called Ben and all the others are dogs I rescued. Over the last few years I have re homed about 15 to 20 dogs but some were so badly treated and suffered such bad injuries that I could not re home them due to behavioral issues. They are the ones I have kept. In addition to the dogs I have 8 cats. Some live in the house others return just for food. Again they are all rescues. I get the all chopped so they will not breed and all are vaccinated to the hilt. They take up a great deal of time as you can imagine but I am passionate about them and animal welfare in general. I will attach a few pics of the different animals.
This dog I have called lucky. As you can see he was in a bad shape. He also only has maybe 10% vision. This was a few months ago. He is now fit and very happy
The kittens I rescued when the mother was killed
Juro, the fighter. Abandoned on a building site as a puppy. He will atack anyone who comes near
Lady and one of the cats. She was starving and frightened of people. It took me two weeks to of sitting with food before I could get close enough to catch her
Jack. Who unfortunately died recently from Kidney failure
Whitey. Rescued from a small cage where he was kept 24 hours a day. Now happy as can be. This was me feeding him when he was kept in the cage because the owner at that time did not feed him
This was Belle when I rescued her her spine was exposed as the owner had put a wire collar on her as a small puppy and never removed it.
George. A black Lab that was found abanded having contracted Distemper. He had to be hand feed for 15 months before his body gave up but he was happy for that period.
I have many more mate.
What sorts ? Pics or it didn't happen
She's our 4th Dane and dumbarse (Finn) is a Wolfie cross idiot, love them both
We also have 3 cats who have 3 decidedly different personalities
Seems like just the right vehicle for you mate. Glad to see you are a dog man. I have 8! Ha! Ha!
