The Carbs, the dam Carbs!!

I realy wanted to get the erratic running sorted so I had the mechanic strip the carbs and I had also noticed that there was some damage to the airbox. He stripped the carbs and gave mme a long list of new parts to get. I ordered those and also a new airbox and filter. Weeks later they arrived and were all fitted. The bike ran better but still it was not right. The noise from what I thought were valves was gettin worse and it was still consuming large quantities of oil.
