So the ZXR is effectively finished. For the last two days I have been riding it around the Sub Division in first and second gear to test everything out and make sure nothing fell off!! (It has happened before). Today I took it out for its first proper run. It is so different to what I normally ride. To say I loved it would be an understatement. At first, it felt like a toy compared to what I normally ride. Sooooo small. I fell in love with it immediately. The engine is a gem and the induction roar and sound from the exhaust is mesmerizing. The "Beast" lives beyond 6000 RPM and it is addictive. As well as the sound there are those beautiful and iconic looks. I cant wait to put new tyres on it and take it bend chasing. The only issues with the bike after the shakedown run is a small leak from the clutch master cylinder. That will be done next week after a work trip.
